Lana Del Ray sings on current tour.

The dramatic and sentimental tunes of artist Lana Del Rey filled the air at the BB&T center on Feb. 1. Her vocals and lyrics left her fans teary-eyed and touched by the time the show was over towards the end of the night.

Her opening act, Kali Uchis, a rising singer from Colombia, performed elegantly before the show started. Uchis fired the crowd up with her charming, upbeat songs. She performed her top hits, including her newest release, “Before the Storm and “Tyrant.

About an hour into the show, Del Rey finally appeared in a pair of thigh-high black leather boots paired with a beautiful party-like, black sequined dress. The singer performed a total of 20 songs, including her most popular hits, “Born to Die,” “Ride and “Summertime Sadness, which had the whole crowd singing along. Each song had its own music video playing on the wide screen in the background of the stage.

The stage was set in a heavenly manner, with decorative palm trees on the left and right sides along with a full moon displayed largely on the screen in the background, hence the tour name, “LA to the Moon.”

Del Rey put on a show to remember for the BB&T Center by getting her fans to sing along to every lyric and leaving the crowd in complete awe at the show’s conclusion.

Greeting fans who were in the general admission section, Lana got as intimate as possible with her fans. Greeting those in the front row, she hugged and took photos with fans. Few fans even presented her with handmade gifts, such as collages and booklets filled with photos, as well as flowers.

Finishing off with her catchiest song, “Off To The Races,” Del Rey made a significant outro on the stage, leaving fans stunned.
