Fall brings promising TV shows

Many new television shows are premiering this fall, and this year’s lineup is exciting to freaks and geeks alike.
The Flash, the highly anticipated Arrow spin-off, premieres Oct. 7 on the CW. Starring Grant Gustin, the superhero fiction show centers around Barry Allen, who becomes the fastest man alive after an explosion at the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator.
American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres Oct. 8 on FX. American Horror Story is known for changing the characters, setting and plot between each season. The new season is set in Jupiter, Florida in 1952, and one of the last freak shows of that time will do anything to keep the business open.
The Affair, premiering Oct. 12 on Showtime, is an American drama show starring Dominic West and Ruth Wilson. The show is told from alternating perspectives and follows the emotional and psychological effects of infidelity in two marriages.
Constantine, starring Matt Ryan, premieres Oct. 24 on NBC. Based off the comic book series Hellblazer, the series focuses on John Constantine, a demon hunter and master of the occult struggling with his past as he tries to protect humanity from a growing supernatural threat.
